Programmatic access to Nexus Research data

✦ API Overview

The Nexus Research API provides programmatic access to academic papers and scholar data aggregated from 6 leading scholarly APIs — OpenAlex, ORCID, PubMed, arXiv, Crossref, and Semantic Scholar. All endpoints are free and open for academic use.

API Key Required: All API requests must include a valid API Key in the request header. Apply for a free API Key below.

Base URL

http://101.43.84.136:8888/api/

All endpoints are relative to this base URL. Include your API Key in the X-API-Key header.

GET /discovery/papers/

Search academic papers

Search for papers by keyword, title, author name, or research field.

Parameters

q Search query (required) per_page Results per page (default: 20, max: 100) page Page number (default: 1)

Search scholars

Find scholars by name, research field, or institution across multiple data sources.
