Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

2. Review Type & Principles

This press uses double‑anonymized peer review. The identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other throughout the review process. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and absence of conflict of interest. Each proposal is evaluated by an average of 3–4 independent reviewers to ensure robustness and fairness.

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts against the following criteria:

  • Originality and significance of the contribution
  • Soundness of methodology and data analysis
  • Clarity, quality, and accessibility of presentation
  • Relevance to the press's scope (AI, Digital Medicine, Intelligent Systems)
  • Ethical compliance (informed consent, data integrity)
