StarNexus Science Press is proud to participate in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) Exhibition & Bookstore Tour, a strategic initiative to bring our academic publications to readers, libraries, and institutions across the region. Through our participation in the South China Book Fair – Hong Kong Pavilion and the GBA Bookstore Tour, we are expanding our reach and building lasting partnerships.

Our Commitment: To showcase Hong Kong's academic excellence and make our publications accessible to the wider GBA community, fostering cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary dialogue.

South China Book Fair – Hong Kong Pavilion

The South China Book Fair is one of the largest and most influential book fairs in China, held annually in Guangzhou. The Hong Kong Pavilion, organized by the Hong Kong Publishing Federation, serves as a dedicated platform for Hong Kong publishers to present their works to a vast mainland audience and international visitors.

Our Participation

Exhibiting a curated selection of our latest academic monographs and edited volumes.
Engaging with readers, scholars, librarians, and potential partners from the mainland and beyond.
Showcasing our gold open access publications and AI-powered bilingual eBooks and audiobooks (through Publishing 3.0).
Networking with other publishers, distributors, and cultural institutions to explore collaboration opportunities.

Key Achievement: Our participation has led to increased interest in our titles, with several books being considered for mainland distribution and translation.

Our selected titles are part of a 12-month roaming exhibition across four key GBA cities, placing them directly in the hands of readers and curators in vibrant cultural hubs.

Rights & Licensing – Expanding Our Reach

Our GBA participation is a key part of our rights and licensing strategy, designed to extend the reach of our publications to new markets and audiences.

Simplified Chinese Rights: We are actively seeking partners to publish simplified Chinese editions of our titles for the mainland market.
Translation Rights: We are exploring opportunities for translations into other languages to broaden our global footprint.
Co-Publishing: We are open to co-publishing arrangements with institutions and publishers in the GBA and beyond.
Digital Partnerships: We are keen to partner with digital platforms and distributors to enhance the accessibility of our eBooks and audiobooks.
